2024 Season Review
As we wrap up another incredible season, we’re excited to share highlights from our 2024 season that made this year unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported our teams throughout the year!
Community Engagement
- Santa Claus Parade: We proudly participated in the 2024 Santa Claus Parade, spreading holiday cheer and showcasing our amazing teams.
- TD Gives Program: As part of TD’s initiative for non-profit organizations, we received incredible support to continue growing our programs.
Player Development
- Winter Training: Our winter training sessions for U11 and older divisions were a huge success, with strong attendance and enthusiasm from all players.
- Coaches Clinic: A fantastic clinic featuring diamond setup demonstrations, skills, and drills knowledge sharing to ensure our coaches were prepared for a successful season.
- CanPitch Accreditation: Congratulations to Kate Cicurskis and Alessia Garganis for earning their Softball Ontario CanPitch accreditation!
Participation and Growth
- Registrations: We welcomed 285 players this year—182 girls and 103 boys, forming 30 teams supported by 100+ dedicated coaches and volunteers.
- Umpire Development: We expanded our umpire pool with both new and returning umpires. Clinics included intermediate and junior training, plus a hands-on diamond clinic.
- New 2025 Board Members: We’d like to welcome Jenny Cairney and Zahir Ratanshi to the 2025 Board of Directors!
Division Highlights
- Division Adjustments: The U11 and U13 boys divisions were split, fostering a more competitive and enjoyable experience for all teams.
- Loops and Competitions: We continued participating in the York Simcoe Boys Loop and York North Girls Loop for U11+ divisions, welcoming Vaughan to the girls’ competition.

- Photography: We partnered with a new vendor, Future Stars Photography, to capture incredible memories for our teams and families.
- Volunteer Appreciation BBQ: Our annual BBQ and softball game were a hit, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our volunteers.
